Painting glass with NVRC

Last week was filled with Crafternoon awesomeness! I had four crafty events with four awesome partners-in-craft. Lucky me!

First up was sharing an easy craft for North Vancouver Recreation & Culture's Volunteer Appreciation Event. We decided to restyle thrift store glass vases. It's a super fun way to add your own style to a basic vase. I picked up some Sharpie paint felts and adhesive gems then got crafty!

I used a butterfly stencil and used the purple paint felt then added a silver border. Next up was adding some bling. It took all of 15 minutes.

Ain't it pretty? So simple yet looks so good!

The project was a hit at the Volunteer Appreciation Event!

So many intense crafters...

This glass jar is for cat food... And guess what the cat's name is? Buttons!

We rocked the glass vase craft...

Big thanks to NVRC for including me in the event!
