The 'Regenerates' exhibit and panel at Seymour Art Gallery

Did you manage to see the exhibit 'Regenerates' at the Seymour Art Gallery? I hope so! It was gorgeous and inspiring.

The exhibit included works by Katherine Soucie and Michelle Sirois-Silver that focused on innovation and the transformation of waste materials. All of the works incorporated discarded materials from the manufacturing process of Soucie’s clothing line and challenged our notions about garbage.

I love the vibrant colours used in this piece.

And this installation on the floor.

Here's one of the hooked rug pieces...

Here's my crafty peep Leanne Prain who facilitated the panel I went to where Katherine Soucie and Michelle Sirois-Silver spoke about their work and the exhibit. The panel discussed curiosity, innovation and reimagining the discarded.

Here's to inspiring exhibits and challenging our ideas around waste and the discarded.
