Xmas crafting with Surrey Library

Last weekend I crafted with my peeps at the Guildford Library in Surrey. We upcycled old wool sweaters into Xmas crafty goodness. We had about 20+ participants of all ages and skill levels.

These are my sample projects using old wool sweaters, miscellaneous buttons and thrift store jewelry.

Here's one of the sample projects using a zipper to decorate their tree. Very kewl!

A very sweet Xmas tree...

One participant and her kids cranked out the DIYs...

We even had two married couples on date nights at the Crafternoon... I love that! One couple made this pair of ornaments.

Lots of happy crafters! First timers, old skewl crafters, date nighters, etc. It was a heck of a lot of fun!

We had a sister and brother join in. The brother was hilarious. He's not a crafter but really got into the mood. He was showing off his work to everyone. This is his project... Not entirely sure what it is but he was really, REALLY happy with it.

Big thanks to Meghan at Guildford Library for setting up the workshop and for being my very fabulous helper!
