Upcycled wool sweater bunny basket
Easter Crafternoon prep is in the works! I'm making baskets out of tin cans and old wool sweaters. I started off with a bunny basket out of old clothing, buttons and thrift store fabric.
Here's my pattern... The basket is a cute bunny face with floppy ears.
The pattern includes the face plus ears...
I cut out the pieces then added eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers...
Here's the bunny face - cute!
I cut out a front and back for the face then one long piece that became the bottom of the bag plus floppy bunny ears.
I first stitched the front to the long piece...
Then stitched the back and added a handle using thrift store fabric...
Oh I also added a tail to the back of the basket!
From beginning to end... A cutie patootie bunny basket.
Next up is the tin can basket... Then I may just make a garland out of cereal boxes.
