Tin can projects are good to go

This afternoon is the Valentine's Crafternoon at the North Vancouver City Library. I'm finishing up sample projects then packing all my supplies up.

I started with a DIY tissue paper flower. So easy and looks quite pretty, doesn't it? I found a simple tutorial on Lia Griffith's blog.

I then glued and tied it to the top of my second tin can update... I Mod Podged paper to the tin can then added the tissue paper along the top.

Kind of funsie... Maybe the flower is too big but I like it! Perfect for storing pencils or real flowers!

Here's the paper I glued to the tin can...

And here are my two samples... One using burlap with stencilling and bling. Then the other with paper and a tissue paper flower.

Here's the rundown...

Now to pack for this aft's Crafternoon. Happy Saturday!
