NVCL Crafternoon prep is on

Guess what's happening this Saturday? I'm crafting with my NVCL peeps. Yay! Here's the signage in the entrance to the North Vancouver City Library. And apparently I am an 'upcycling expert'. Kewl!

What are we making? We're focusing on Valentine's Day gifties and decor using tin cans, cereal boxes, burlap, toilet paper rolls... Which means I need to prep a few samples! First project samples will use tin cans. Here's my initial stash...

Thank goodness for coworkers! I have more tin cans for Saturday!

The beginnings of my first sample project... Burlap, jewels and a stencil...

First sample done... We love the bling in our Crafternoons, don't we? Next up is using funky paper...

After tin cans, I'll make bunting out of old clothing and then packaging out of toilet paper rolls.

If you're free on Saturday we're crafting from 1:30pm to 3pm at the North Vancouver City Library. It's going to be a blast!
