Our Social Fabric fundraiser and upcycling demo

Yesterday was the Our Social Fabric fundraiser, 'Re-Purposeful'. It took place in my old hood - Edgemont Village. 'Re-Purposeful' featured fashion historian Ivan Sayer's personal collection of vintage "upcycled" garments.

I was asked to give an upcycling demo... Check out the nifty bunting! I feel very official and grown up.

We're all set up and waiting for everyone to show up. I love OSF!

I was checking out the bags of buttons! You can never have enough buttons... Seriously!

My new BFF, Audrey Gallagher. She demoed no sew braided rugs using upcycled fabric.

Here's where the talk and fashion show took place...

I saw a few of my awesome crafty peeps like Leanne Prain. She was the official photographer.

Here's an action shot from the fashion show. It was a great event and Ivan Sayers is hilarious!

More new crafty peeps, Irina and Michelle from Frameworq. Frameworq is a design lab that practices the principles of circular economy through a store and studio for upcycled, reused and repurposed clothing and accessories.

The fundraiser was awesome! The fashion show was fun and super interesting. I saw a few of my FAV crafty peeps plus met new ones. I demoed and found happy homes for my wine cork jewelry. And I've been asked to be part of the OSF board. Feeling super FAB these days with all the crafty goodness coming my way!
