DIY lavender sachet
Here's a quick DIY that would be a fun giftie to give for Valentine's Day for family, friends or that special someone. I used a thrift store find - I paid $1 for this kids kimono. The fabric is perfect for a lavender sachet and for Valentine's Day!
First I used a heart shaped cookie cutter for the pattern...
I cut out a front and back for the sachet...
Now stitch 80% of the heart shaped fabric then fill it with loose lavender, add a ribbon for hanging it then finish the stitching.
It's that easy - repurposed fabric, loose lavender and tada! You're done!
Now to work on more DIYs for my next Crafternoon... It's February 7th at the North Vancouver City Library.
