October Art & Craft Social

Last Wednesday night I finally made it out for the Art and Craft Social evening at Hot Art Wet City on Main Street. It's a monthly stitch n' bitch, crafternoon, and art jam all rolled into one hosted by Rachael Ashe and Kim Werker.

I met up with a couple of my crafty peeps and well... We crafted! With new peeps in a FAB space. Seating is limited to 30 people. They had about 20 - it's getting popular!

I grabbed a bunch of my 'in progress' pieces... Thankfully they were small. I was ready to craft! I brought a new thrift store find to repurpose - $2 drop earrings I wanted to turn into something new & exciting.

Yup - it was busy and industrious... And fun! I'm definitely hoping to make the next craft social!

New friends and swanky art... This is Sean Karemaker in the back and one of his comics.

I ended up finishing some wine cork earrings plus starting on my thrift store earring update. I maybe was a bit too chatty and not that industrious... Surprise surprise!

The next Art and Craft Social is on November 26th at 7:15pm. See you there!
