Painting more thrift store finds
I am so stoked with my thrift store bowl updates! I've got them on my bedroom dresser and filled them with rings and brooches. So darn pretty!
And I keep finding more thrift store finds to paint! I bought these teak napkin rings ages ago for $0.25. I love them... Alas I decided they needed some Ocean Breeze lovin'...
A few coats of paint and then a couple of coats of glossy Varathane... Done! They're stunning! I'm thinking this is a great project for friend gifties... The wooden salad spoons are perfect on their own, the bowls are awesome as reusable packaging for a gift... The possibilities are endless!
Before and after... Teak and turquoise - WOW!
Now to finish up my yellow bowl plus I may try to find something else to paint! I'm also planning some sewing - I have a quick DIY I want to try out... Upcycled burlap, stitching and maybe some felt applique. Kewl!
