Easy peasy projects using kewl finds from Urban Source

This week I worked on mini craft projects using nifty finds from Urban Source on Main Street. First was figuring out 'something' to make out of these funky, coloured slide frames.

I found this old photo booth pic of my BFF Rhonda and I... I decided to use the slide frames for photos to add to my fridge. Easy peasy!

I picked out four photos that would be perfect for my fridge. I put aside four magnets for the back and plugged in my glue gun. I was ready!

First was to use Mod Podge to glue the slide frames to the photos.

Once the glue was dry, I trimmed the photos along the edge of the frame.

Next was gluing a magnet to the back of each then they were done!

Here they are on my fridge. They're cutesy, fun and so darn easy to make!

I'm also working on some swanky wine cork buttons using this paper.

I've Mod Podge-ed the paper to the wine cork rounds and am in the process of adding a few coats of wood varnish. I think they'll look gorgeous when they're done!

Other projects in the works include making art from these laminate/metal samples. Maybe they'll be mini paintings or inspiring quotes. I thought I could glue magnets to the back so they could be hung on a fridge. We'll see what I come up with!

And September is going to be AWESOME! Just booked a flight to New York City... I'll be adventuring in NYC on my own for five days. So darn pumped! I then have another trip booked - spending quality time with the one I love. Lucky me!

Here's to getting crafty, having fun adventures and to being the best version of yourself. At least that's my plan!
