A few favourite trip pics: Ireland

I selected a few pics from my trip to Ireland... No family or pub shots which definitely was what I seemed to have a lot of! Other than family and pubs, the main things I took pics of were churches, cemeteries, animals, landscapes and gardens. So excited to get my Printstagram pieces - a couple of books, a poster and some individual prints. Most of which will be mailed off to my relatives.

Churches, Castles and a Thatched House

The Black Abbey, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny.

St. Canices Cathedral and Tower, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny.

Ross Errily Friary, County Galway.

The gothic church at Kylemore Castle, County Galway.

Dunguaire Castle in County Galway.

Thatched house on Inishmore, Aran Islands.

The Irish landscape is amazing! When I traveled to Galway the landscape was full of these stone walls. This pic was taken when I toured the Burren.

These are some fish traps found on Inishmore, Aran Irelands.

When I walked up to Dun Aengus Fort on Inishmore, Aran Islands there was rock and then super vibrant fields of grass. Must be all that rain that keeps it green!

Also found on Inishmore, Aran Islands - eroded rock found near the seashore.

The Burren, County Clare.

The Cliffs of Moher, County Clare.

Sugar Loaf Mountain, County Wicklow. Great view from Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry!

This is Powerscourt Estate.

Mount Congreve in Kilmeaden, County Waterford. This is a huge country garden that is beautiful.

More of Mount Congreve.

Super cute horse-drawn carriage, Inishmore, Aran Islands.

Another horse-drawn carriage, Inishmore, Aran Islands.

This is one of my favourite shots - love the cows, colours, landscape!

Here's one of me from the Cliffs of Moher... It was unbelievably wet, cold and windy. The last time I was in Ireland I saw the Cliffs in the sunshine but this time was anything but. April/May in Ireland is not guaranteed with sun and warmth!

Those are the highlights... Can't wait to get my prints and figure out the best way to display them!

  1. Took my family to Ireland a couple of months back. It truly is gorgeous isn't it?

  2. It is gorgeous! I'm going back next month for a wedding. Can't wait! :-)
